Georgia College, the liberal arts campus for the Georgia State University System needed a brand makeover. Their agency, Educational Marketing Group of Denver, Colorado, tapped us to shoot environmental portraits of students and faculty and produce a set of videos to profile several students and faculty members.

Working to a well-designed creative plan, we developed a look for the work that reflected the personalities involved. Bradley, the young man at the top of this page, for example, was working on a thesis in Cyanotype photography, so we developed a lighting technique that gave a cyanotype look to his portrait and video profile. For Lauren, a campus ROTC commander, we developed a look that reflected classic black and white war photography.

Each of the videos and portraits go its own unique look, while being tied together by the overarching creative strategy and style guide the agency had developed.
